As a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music with over 10 years of teaching experience, I combine a strong foundation in listening, improvisation, and technique with a student-centered approach to create engaging, meaningful lessons. My goal is to make music both fun and personal, fostering an environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their creativity!
I work with students of all ages and experience levels—from young beginners as early as age six to adults refining their skills or exploring songwriting and composition. Whether in private or group lessons, I tailor each session to keep students motivated and excited about learning. Lessons can span any genre and may include songwriting, recording techniques, improvisation, and music theory alongside instrumental study.
In addition to my private teaching studio, I am a teaching artist at The Brooklyn Music School in Fort Greene, where I lead youth piano classes and middle school rock band ensembles.
